Glass bead cleaning utilizes an air blast to propel glass bead onto the work. Upon contact with the metal, the beads shatter and expose abrasive aspirates, which clean the workpiece. This is one of the least aggressive methods of abrasive cleaning and will not damage cutting edges, sharp corners or polished surfaces. This results in a light grey satin finish.
